Executive Summary
Integra Global Green Energy Inc. a Company incorporated in Canada is the Master Licensee and marketer for the proprietary Integra Waste to Energy Technology in African and Asian countries, with first right of refusal on the rest of the world market.

Integra’s Waste to Energy technology provides sustainable, reliable and economical solutions for managing and destroying waste streams, such as Municipal Solid Waste (MSW), sewage, petroleum sludge as well as effective remediation of landfill sites. Integra’s hybrid system can safely destroy over 307 of the world’s most toxic chemicals and wastes as well as radioactive medical, pharmaceutical and Bio Hazardous wastes. In addition to remediating waste streams, the Integra system can also utilize a multitude of petroleum fuel sources such as coal, heavy fuel oil, crude oil, diesel fuel, LNG, LPG, etc to supplement the waste streams or use only petroleum fuels to generate power with zero emissions.

Integra is committed to delivering superior Waste to Energy solutions as well as alternate energy modalities with above-standard environmental benefits to industries, governments and communities In North America and abroad.

Waste and energy are the two main components of the world’s sustainability/environment crisis. Integra’s hybrid energy-from-waste technology addresses these issues by producing green energy to electricity and by virtually eliminating the need for landfill, both of which contribute to the significant reduction of greenhouse gas. And, Integra’s technology is certified by the world’s most stringent environment protection agency, the United States Environmental Protection Agency and is also approved by the Ministry of Environment Canada.

Integra
is committed to delivering environmentally-responsible solutions that reduce greenhouse gases, methane and CO2, through the advancement of cutting edge technology, remediation, conversion, and alternate energy platforms.

"Municipal Waste Streams" are considered a designated renewable resource that can be recycled into electricity using the Integra W2E system. It is estimated that for every ton of MSW put into landfill, there is an equivalent of 1.5 tons of greenhouse gases being emitted.

By diverting waste from landfills and eliminating long-distance hauling, a large amount of greenhouse gas emissions are cut out of the waste disposal equation. As part of our commitment to operating with full respect to the environment, Integra partners with top architectural firms to build our systems in environmentally-pleasing, state-of-the-art structures.

In addition to municipal waste, it can also be used to destroy a wide variety of Hazardous Waste Streams in either solid or liquid form including
  • Municipal Sewage Waste
  • Pulp and Paper wastes
  • Low Radiation Medical wastes, Pharmaceutical wastes
  • Bio Hazardous Wastes
  • Petroleum sludge
  • Tires
  • Plastics including PVC
How Integra's system works

The Integra system converts energy from one form to another. The operating process can be summarized as follows

  • Waste is transported to the facility where it is prepared. It enters the system's primary chamber, which vaporizes the energy-laden waste at high thermal thresholds and starts an energy cascade that results in the formation of fuel gases much like natural gas.
  • These reformed gases enter a second chamber where they are thermodynamically balanced to supply thermal units to the boiler system which provides the steam for the turbine generators.
  • The treated soil and/or other materials are recovered, verified and classified for reuse.
  • The technology generates billions of British Thermal Units of thermal energy per day. During the conversion cascade, this energy is harnessed by means of electrical co-generation.

The Integra system is a continuous feed conversion that allows for greater operational efficiency and an extremely high conversion capacity. Each system has the capacity to process 1,000 tons of characterized processed waste and produce 60 MWH of power.

Recovered energy is used to co-generate electricity that may be used locally, or sold to the power grid. Therefore, the capital costs for an integrated energy-from waste Integra system can be recouped in one to three years, based on a number of factors such as the size of the facility, tipping fees, carbon credits and the operating efficiency ratio.

The system is modular and can be easily upgraded to increase capacities. It is very efficient and requires little fuel to destroy the waste material put through it, making the technology even more profitable by reducing added fuel costs. To ensure safety of operations, the process is digitally monitored to ensure optimum performance and safety.

The Integra system exceeds the United States EPA certification standards by many times with a Destruction Removal Efficiency (DRE) of 99.99999% and is going to be certified as ISO 14064 – the highest possible certification for this type of green technology making Integra one of the cleanest waste to energy alternative in the world.

Benefits to the Government
The plants produce a zero carbon footprint. The only byproducts are steam and an inert ash (like fly ash) that can be used in the construction industry.

Sewage as well as MSW can be utilized.

Integra systems take less than 2 years to construct one plant or multiple systems can be deployed at the same time.

Depending on the country of employment, each plant will provide approximately 150 - 300 jobs including high level professional engineering positions, plus 500 - 1000 collateral jobs and 250 - 500 temporary jobs to deploy the plants.

In addition to remediating new MSW, the technology is highly capable of cleaning up existing landfills for power production and reclaim the land. Solves the problem for municipalities by managing their waste problems, and also producing clean power from such waste, thus converting red-ink to black.

Micro-utilities are more viable in developing countries considering the age and condition of their electrical transmission infrastructure and the 18 to 35% loss of power through transmission loss and theft. Smaller local power production units would be much more inexpensive and efficient than replacing transmission lines and transformers.

Expectation of Integra
  • Sufficient allocations of landfill and/or current MSW waste and/or other wastes
  • Power Purchase Agreement
  • Sovereign guarantee and Tax declaration
  • Non-Expropriation agreement
  • 15 to 20 acres to be provided for deployment around the landfill sites and necessary Government approvals prior to mobilization of equipment.
  • Government will recommend our CDM (Clean Development Mechanism) registration under the Kyoto Protocol.
  • Duration of landfill and current waste stream allotment to be at least 25 years
